Mr. Kamla Kant Misra has been associated with the Cement Industry for more than 47 years and has strong expertise in site identification and acquisition procedures for mineral concessions. He has led several techno commercial evaluation of raw material deposits and preparation of techno economic feasibility studies including raw mix designing for large cement projects in India and abroad. He brings strong experience in technical audits, due diligence studies and cost optimisation studies for mining operations. In his roles with Holtec and Ultratech, he has assisted in several raw material projects and acquisition opportunities. Mr. Misra has a Post Graduate degree in Geology from the University of Patna and has travelled to over 56 countries in connection with various projects.

Most recently he was the Founder and CEO of Groupot – a consumer savings platform focussed on the Jewellery industry. Before that, he was running Global Markets for Haystack.one – a personalization platform. Before his startup avatar, Raj has been involved in building and scaling multiple cloud and on-premise businesses for enterprise leaders like IBM and SAP for over fifteen years. Raj is a Mechanical Engineer and MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
